Maui. If you advise Maui your preferred crossing times, number of passengers
and ages of children, we will be happy to make the booking for you. You collect
your tickets on pick-up and pay for the ferry at the branch. It is essential to
pre-book ferries in the New Zealand summer months between November and March.
We will reconfirm to you the actual sailing time when it is confirmed to us.

by the Interislander Ferry is 3 hours and the Lynx Fast Ferry is 2 hours & 15 minutes.

On-Road Help
In the unlikely event that you will experience any minor mechanical or
operational problems with your vehicle, assistance can be readily provided
through any one of our appointed service agents throughout New Zealand. In
addition to this, Maui offers a 24-hour roadside assistance helpline, should
you require the assistance of a Maui staff member. Freephone 0800 651 080
(North Island) or 0800 304 304 (South Island).
Diesel Tax Recovery
The Diesel Tax Recovery Fee (Motorhomes only) will be calculated and collected
on return of your vehicle based on the kilometres traveled during your hire.

availability but your vehicle will be suitable for the required number of
persons and have equivalent or better specifications to those in the brochure.
Vehicles cannot be requested by make or mode, only by vehicle type eg. Spirit
2, Spirit 4 etc. Extra bedding is available on request (fees apply).
Baby/Booster seat fittings are an additional charge and available by request
only.

| All vehicles are insured for the damage to the vehicle or to the property of a Third Party. The hirer is responsible for the first NZ$5,000 for Motorhomes and NZ$1,800 for rental cars ('the standard excess') of the cost of the damage to the third party property or rented vehicle. By purchasing PFO, you can also return the vehicle without having to re-fuel it prior to drop-off. Must be requested at time of pick up. There is no credit for unused fuel. |
