You will need to purchase a separate disc if you require driving directions in other countries. Optional purchase of other countries for Citroën can be found here : http://www.globalcars.com.au/Leasing/Citroenaccessories.aspx
4/ Is there a limit on the number of kilometres I can drive my Citroën DriveEurope?

5/ What happens if I have a problem with my DriveEurope Citroën Vehicle ?

6/ Who can drive the vehicle?
The person holding title to the contract (whose name is repeated on the vehicle registration certificate), their spouse, direct ascendants or descendants may drive the vehicle if they meet all the same conditions for obtaining temporary registration for transit. The contract holder must be in France during the use of the vehicle. No other name can be added to the vehicle registration certificate or the insurance documents. The name mentioned there is that of the person who signed the order form –
As determined by French Customs that no other person may drive the car that doesn’t fall into the above criteria.
For same sex couples & defacto relationships
The documentation that is required is the official one which considers the rights of the couple as a legal couple in front of the Australian law. (for property, taxes, address, insurances, heritage and so on) a property document is not enough as you may share a property without no other consideration of being a couple. A statutory Declaration is required which has been approved by the French Customs as a legal binding document.
7/ What if I choose to extend my trip?
Your Citroën DriveEurope allows you to extend the lease period while you are on your European trip. Additional fees do apply. Simply contact Citroën DriveEurope head office in Paris 10 days before prior to the original expiry date, with payment reaching them 5 days prior to the original expiry date, for your lease and insurance policy to be extended.

11/ Why are there so many diesels on offer and so few automatics?
In Europe due to environmental concerns diesel fuel is about 25% less than petrol and is up to 35% more efficient. There are simply more diesels manufactured. Automatics are also rare for this reason.
Citroën offer an extensive range of both petrol and diesel models. If you plan on a long stay and driving many miles, then we recommend a car with diesel fuel. It is generally cheaper to purchase and gives better mileage.
12/ How do I book?
It’s easy! To place your order, just follow these simple steps:
Choose the Citroën model you want to order.
Confirm your intended pick up and drop off locations. Bookings can be made directly through your travel agent. To secure your booking, you will need to complete a Reservation form and return the completed Reservation form along with a deposit of $200. All bookings must be received by globalCARS.com.au at least 6 weeks prior to the intended pick up date. (In some cases, bookings can be made at shorter notice depending on vehicle availability and pick-up location).
-
On receipt of your completed Reservation form and deposit, a contract will be forwarded to you for signing. This contract will then need to be returned to globalRES.com.au Once we have received your completed contract, your copy will be forwarded to you with a letter of confirmation, including pick up and drop off location instructions and telephone numbers. We recommend that you read the terms and conditions on the reverse of your copy of the contract when you receive it (yellow form).
-
BANK DETAILS AND PROMISSORY NOTES:
As a condition of providing a vehicle under the Citroën DriveEurope program, as a security measure, Citroën requires you to sign a draft to the order of Citroën Champ De Mars, which represents the difference between the total price of the delivered vehicle and the DriveEurope total. Bank details and the promissory note form part of the Citroën DriveEurope Contract. At the end of the contract period the customer may
(a) keep the vehicle permanently, in which case Citroën Champ De Mars will request payment, from the customer or
(b) you may return the vehicle to the destination you nominated on the Contract. The Promissory Note is then void.
The requested documents for Citroën Champ De Mars are

13/ Where & How do I collect my Citroën?
One of the best features about leasing a Citroën is the flexibility you have in choosing where to pick up and return your vehicle. All of our pick-up / drop-off points are centrally located at Airports or in the business sector of major cities and towns.
Extra charges apply for pick-up and drop-off destinations outside France.
To collect your Citroën, you are required to produce a copy of your lease Contract (which will be provided to you prior to departure from Australia), your Passport and a valid International Drivers Licence. Only the registered owner can take delivery of the vehicle (name as written on the contract), and the registered owner must return the vehicle. The pick up procedure should take approximately ½ hour in cities, airports and larger towns.
